The "Kulinarische Schaufenster der Region" in the former info center at the B11, at the road leading to Zwiesel, will in the future be the meeting point for producers, consumers or rather connoiseurs, for whom these things are important.
The ARBERLAND REGio GmbH connects here fashion with tradition, mainstream with individuality. Slow-food and regionality boom. In the Bavarian Forest the sustainable use of existing food ressources is not a modern developement but a valuable heritage and culture good.
Always berries from the tight bavarian forests were made to jam in the ARBERLAND, juice from apples and pears was pressed, bread was baked in the woodoven and butter was stired. Also today there are still people that produce their delicacies with love in handicraft.

The culinary range of products is broad and colourful and goes from good and solid things like smoked meat, game salami, smoked trout, goat cheese, herbs salt, butter and bread to Bavarian Forest pralines, wood honey and jam to liquid treats like juices, beers in all variants as well as an exquisite choice of alcohol. New and unique are the ARBERLAND- treats such as for example ARBERabica, ARBERLAND-Schmusi, ARBERLAND-Spirit.
The presented goods can be bought directly, ordered and sent home or collected at the next visit - packed in the environmental friendly "Schmankerl Tüte" or the lovingly decorated hamper. In the treat snack bar all delicacies can be tested.
